The air filter
is directly behind the fuel cap and
is covered by the front section of the seat. The airbox’s elevated
position guarantees the intake of cool, clean air and maximum wading
depth. The intake duct is in the direct downdraft from the filter to
the cylinder.
CHASSIS
A new, lightweight
double cradle perimeter design chromium-molybdenum frame. Guarantees
the greatest torsional rigidity and secure
tracking stability. Extremely slender lower tube loops. Minimal
overall width. Unbeatable ground clearance
SUBFRAME
Cross-linked
polyethylene (PE) ensures that the plastic construction has the
highest stability values and a reduced weight at the same time.
Many electric components have been perfectly imbedded in the rear
fender and there are side openings with handgrips under the seat
FUEL TANK
The slender,
8.5-litre-capacity fuel tank features a compact fuel pump below it
and extends far beneath the seat, which is advantageous for the
centre of gravity. The tank’s fill level can be seen through the
transparent polyethylene. The slim tank design offers optimal
freedom of movement and sporty ergonomics.
SUSPENSION
New, fully
adjustable, 48-mm WP Suspension upside-down forks with sensitive
responsiveness, high damping reserves and CNC-machined triple clamps
for the greatest precision and stability.
Fully adjustable WP PDS
shock with adjustable rebound damping and variable high- and
low-speed compression damping ensures a perfect configuration for
the most varied conditions.
